How lucky were we to find this lovely place! Johan and Marcel were exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. Our room was great and the breakfasts excellent. The whole atmosphere of Ladfabriken was delightful and it is located in the most picturesque of settings. Many thanks to Marcel for his wonderful cooking - his dinners were a real treat. Also thanks to Johan for his advice on where to go in Gothenburg, it was very helpful. All in all a fabulous experience.

Really calm and cozy hotel, with everything you need to enjoy some relaxing days. It had a lot of activities available such as spa or minigolf. The dinner was also great and our room was super cozy with amazing views to the sea. It was also really close to Lysekil so we also did a little day trip there during our stay in the hotel.

I have stayed in Halmstad several times and I am convinced this is the nicest Hotel in town. It has a traditional design with very comfortable beds and soft sheets. The staff are fantastic and make the experience very welcoming. However, the best part is the breakfast in the morning, a delicious selection of meats, fresh fruits, yogurts, breads, coffee and tea.

Location of the hotel is great right by the water, lots of parking and amazing spa!!! Staff was welcoming and helpful and breakfast offers a choice for everyone. I book smaller room as I'm solo traveller but still was good size and spacious, will stay again.

Lovely place and I stayed here before amazing location and very cool floating rooms. Last time I stayed here we had great food and a lovely time in the evenings.
It is private owned and the rooms are not standard but differently designed following different decades. This time we had a 1940’s design.
Excellent breakfast, all you need and not too many choices. Staff very friendly and helpful.
