As my flight to Stockholm was cancelled, I picked out this hotel out of the hotel list on Booking.com right after I confirmed with SAS customer service rep that I needed to stay overnight in Visby. To my surprise, the hotel was a jewel. The hotel is in a medieval establishment, and my wife and I enjoyed the setting including such a romantic bed. A hotel reception lady was so friendly and full of hospitality that she gave us breakfast packs of sandwiches, boiled eggs and yogurt. She also made a taxi arrangement so that we could reach Visby Airport in the early morning without a delay, I fully recommend the hotel operated by such good staff.

Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details.

Very good breakfast.Location was perfekt.Close to the ferries. Quiet, even if it was very windy during our stay.

We stayed in Casa Kruttornet, which is perfect for 3-4 people. It is located within the Visby wall, 50 meters from parking lot and the sea side, 5 minutes walk form the City main Square. The apartament was perfectly clean and had everything what one may need.

Located within the town walls of medieval Visby, right by Donners Place, is Donners Hotell. It offers stylish rooms with parquet floors and free Wi-Fi.

The room was large and comfortable, view on a cobblestoned street, beds were very comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, loads of choice, ideally located in the medieval town centre.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and well thought through - enough space and equipment for cooking, storage and etc. The location is very convenient as it is within a few minutes walk to the main square and all the restaurants. It is also just 5min walk from the sea. Public paid parking can be found all around the building within 1 min walk. Would love to come back there again!
