Centrally located on Victoriei Street in the heart of Bucharest, Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti is steps away from the National Art Museum and close to the Athenaeum, Universitate‎ Metro Station, and business district. The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay. Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried. The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner. The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on. We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.

Centrally located near the Cismigiu Central Park, away from Bucharest's noisy boulevards, Epoque is a stylishly and elegantly decorated boutique hotel with spacious and air-conditioned rooms, as well as free on-site parking and free WiFi in all areas. We loved this hotel, easily the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to Bulgaria and Romania. The location is great, on a side street and quiet, next to a beautiful park, where we walked a few times. It's not too far from restaurants. The staff was fantastic; everyone was welcoming and friendly, and gave terrific restaurant recommendations. The one that was formerly an inn was just perfect; we thank you so much for telling us about it. We had a memorable meal there, chatting with some diners from Hungary, and (shh) feeding the resident cats under our table. The breakfast staff was particularly exceptional; they always greeted us each morning with a big smile and remembered our preference after the first day!
