We loved everything. It was like being a princess in a castle. We all loved it. It was clean, beautiful, spacious, the air-conditioning was great, all the details were thought about. Newly opened in 2014, Hotel Tempo is 200 metres from the Mures River and 1,500 metres from the centre of Targu Mures. It offers free WiFi and a restaurant serving international cuisine and traditional Romanian dishes. The hotel is a modern building in a beautiful city. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean. When we arrived, we had an issue with the AC unit, and the receptionist offered us a different room immediately. The staff was extremely friendly, and the beds were comfortable.

Casa Lia is a guest house located in the centre of Sighisoara Fortress, right next to the Shoemakers Tower and just 200 metres from the Clock Tower. It offers basic accommodation with free WiFi access, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great location inside the citadel, comfortable. Breakfast is just perfect. Marius is the greatest of all hosts, definitely recommended!!!

However, there is a modern bathroom and everything that a modern people might need. There is no parking at the site but you can drive your car to the building, leave your luggage and move the car to the parking at the foot of the citadel (or to park it for free on the street in the neighbourgood behind the paid parking). No-key entrance system, much convenient. Warm enough. Comfortable beds and pillows.

Great location, perfectly situated, very friendly staff, nice rooms. We can highly recommend Vila Silvia.

This boutique-hotel was the house of chronicler and historian Georg Krauss and comprises individually designed rooms with design decorations, including original frescoes, mediaeval-style or solid wood furniture, hand carved decorations and stylish bathrooms. Each room is equipped with modern facilities, including a minibar, a flat-screen cable TV, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some also have air-conditioning, and others come with a fireplace. Well located within the old town. Very good service and facilities. Definitely recommend and eager to stay there again.

Pensiunea Cristina si Pavel, a property with a garden, is situated in Sighişoara, 22 km from Saschiz Fortified Church, 30 km from Biertan Fortified Church, as well as 30 km from Weavers' Bastion. With free WiFi, this 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and bicycle parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The host was so incredibly kind, she and her husband treated me like family. They have a darling little dog too. Please be kind to this pair, they're wonderful, warm, welcoming people. The location is excellent, only a few feet away from the hilltop bridge; the room is cozy, clean, and felt safe. It doesn't have the sterile hospital or prison feeling some hostels do; this felt like staying in a home. There was a TV in the room, hair dryer, access to a small kitchen and a bath. The garden is pretty, shaded, places to sit and rest. The beds were comfortable, and I was the only visitor during my stay. The lockers are small, but I'm sure they will help you if your things don't fit, and besides the room felt very secure. This was the best hostel I stayed in in Romania.

Hassle-free parking (pre-registered license plate). Breakfast is exceptional, with local food selections. Spacious and spotless room with amazing balcony and view. Location also very good: close to the lake and to the center. We also tried the dinner (ala carte) and that was also great, good selection of wine and food.
