Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Featuring a privileged view of the mountains and the sea, the resort offers direct access to the beach, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a restaurant. Our 1 bdr garden unit with the hot tub was perfect for our one week stay. Attention to details in every aspect; beautiful linens, spa gowns & slippers, candles; herbal tea and sleep mist delivered late afternoon each day was welcomed after our touring; loved the double wide concrete tub; kitchen was small but served our needs perfectly with a cooktop stove, small fridge and all of the dishes/pans required for your stay; housekeeping service every day and a wonderful breakfast that I did not initially know was included but enjoyed. A la carte selection and service was great. Loved the views from the dining room looking over the ocean; our visit in Feb did not allow us to swim in the infinity pool but we enjoyed walks on the beach to watch the big waves. We had one dinner i n the dining room which was very good - I went out of my comfort zone and had cauliflower steak which I would have again. They grow their own herbs and veggies. Parking was plentiful and only a 20 drive to the airport. Good Proximity to everything in the island. This resort truly exceeded our expectations and we would return again.

We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey tones. They include extra long beds and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Suites also feature a minibar. Staff, manager, location, breakfast, cleanliness. All perfect. I’ll be back.

The whole decoration of the Azorean Urban Lodge is ruled by modernity, colours and comfort. Each bedroom is dedicated to a different character and features a private bathroom, either inside the bedroom or in the hall. Comfortable room, 10-15min walking from the center of ponta Delgada. There is no fridge in the room but there is one in the common area

We had an incredible stay at Pico do Refúgio, enjoying the unique experience of being the only guests for the week in this charming former tea factory. The location, atmosphere, fireplace, and cozy interior truly made our trip special. It was such a pleasure to return after a busy day to a place that felt like home. Ana was a fantastic host, and the service was exceptional. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, and after a couple of delayed flights, we were warmly welcomed with appetizers upon arrival. We especially appreciated the privacy and peacefulness of the place, as well as the stunning surroundings, including Santa Bárbara Beach and Lagoa do Fogo. Simply amazing!

The Azorean Guest House offers vintage-style rooms which include single, double, luxury triple rooms and a spacious triple standard room. All accommodations include a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Nice room for the money we paid. Good bed. Very friendly staff.
