Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Location- right on a cliff overlooking a beautiful black sand beach. Perfect! Rooms, spacious with a private hot tub that was quite relaxing. Breakfast- just the right amount of local products with the included option of made to order eggs and other quality items. Very well prepared!

Absolutely astonishing location in the forest, with two chickens and a lovely cat❤️ There was a pretty comfortable kitchen where we cooked breakfast. A complimentary welcome bucket was with the most tasty dairy which I had tried in my life. In general, the place is new, clean and very aesthetic

All rooms, with a contemporary design, are soundproofed, have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, safe, desk and private bathroom, which includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms have a sea view. We loved our stay here! The accommodations are beautiful and spacious, and it's in a great location to explore the rest of the island. We had an ocean view and there is free parking nearby. The breakfast is the best as well as the staff!

One of the best meals we’ve had on the Sao Miguel and staff that goes beyond on service without being obstructive. Had the Terrace Double room and very happy about it

Private bathrooms and cable TVs are standard in all rooms at Hotel Sete Cidades. Some include balconies, while others come with mountains views. The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly.. they speak English well and try to accommodate all your requirements. they had a corkscrew and wine glasses when needed too! the breakfast is basic, no hot food but all fresh, ham, cheese, bread, rolls, pineapple, melon, cakes, yogurt, cereal and freshly squeezed orange juice, maracujá and red fruits juice, coffee and tea. The twin room had a bath and powerful hot shower, a bidet, big balcony with a side view of the sea and city, table and chairs. decor is dated and basic but you're gonna spend most of your time exploring the beautiful island! The hotel is kinda dated and smells like an old hotel but it's pleasant. they put up Xmas trees and decor in reception. so nice. Also there's access to a roof terrace with nice views of the sea, hills and city, which most hotels won't have location is great, close to everything in the centre, just 5-10mins walk

My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey tones. They include extra long beds and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Suites also feature a minibar. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the airport, which can be felt througout the stay as you could frequently see airplanes landing or taking off but due to the soundproof windows this is not as bothersome (it was kind of cool actually). The swimming pool was nice! (we also had one plane fly directly above us as we swam) - there are like 10 flights a day and only during the day, being a city airport, there are no flights during the night - so you don't have to fear that a plane will wake you up mid-night. The swimming pool was rarely occupied (we were staying mid-may) the initial dip was a bit cold but it got better fast enough. The staff was super nice, especially the bartender we met on our arrival. The room was nice and clean, with water and capsule coffee being refreshed daily (a regular and a decaf per person per day), the breakfast buffet had a wide enough selection so we could mix up our breakfast across our stay (and always it was nice). All in all a perfect stay, I can definitely recommend this hotel. 😊 PS: the maracuja Kima is a must try! (available at the bar)

All rooms are decorated with comfortable bedding and feature a TV and minibar in the seating area. Each one is air-conditioned and has a well-lit work desk. Very good value for the money

The whole decoration of the Azorean Urban Lodge is ruled by modernity, colours and comfort. Each bedroom is dedicated to a different character and features a private bathroom, either inside the bedroom or in the hall. The property is situated close to town. Our room had everything we needed and we requested a private bathroom. The communal kitchen was fully equipped, very neat, squeaky clean and had allocated cupboards for every room that is rented. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and also booked us a taxi to the airport. We could not have asked for better.

The Azorean Guest House offers vintage-style rooms which include single, double, luxury triple rooms and a spacious triple standard room. All accommodations include a flat-screen TV with cable channels. There was a possibility of a late check-in after midnight, free parking, and a great breakfast.
