The view of the Natural Pools was unbelievable! We could not have asked for more! Fabulous room, shower, smart tv, robes, towels, sheets, space, decor, outdoor furniture, everything was amazing! Breakfast was excellent as well. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Chef making omelettes, eggs, pancakes, waffles. Fresh fruit, baked goods, cold meats and cheeses. Very good coffee. Outdoor seating for breakfast with spectacular views of the Natural Pools... wonderful place. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll be back!!!

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Breakfasts were great also the view and the peaceful area. The staff were very friendly and Teresa (the owner) is a very professional and kind person. Totally recommended!

Recently awarded as Europe's Leading Design Hotel, the luxurious Vine Hotel is located in Funchal and offers a fusion restaurant with stunning views, a Wine Therapy Spa, and a rooftop infinity pool. I liked how central it is to go to the main city and departures to all the attractions. And the staff, the staff was superb. A special thanks to Jorge that breaths professionalism and kindness, what a star!

With 400 meters of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club. The location is simply unbeatable — perched on the edge of the ocean with breathtaking views and easy access to both nature and nearby attractions. What truly made the stay exceptional was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their hospitality exceeded all expectations. The tennis court, set against the backdrop of the sea, is very nice. The pool area down by the ocean is spectacular. It’s peaceful, beautifully designed, and feels like your own private retreat. Very good restaurant as well. We were lucky enough to extend our stay by two extra nights, and so grateful we did. It gave us more time to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. We will definitely be back. This place is a true gem.

The staff was amazing. Our room was clean and had everything what we needed. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans too.

Breakfast was in a-la-carte style (but you can order out of the menu whatever you want and how much you want) : always staff were offering fresh juices. Room was with a great view to Funchal and ocean, nice sunsets. Balcony was not private (shared with 3 rooms), but during our stay we were using it alone. There were living two dogs Labradore in the hotel that cheered us up every morning :). View from hotel is amazing - you can enjoy it every morning with delicious breakfast. Hotel location is also good- next to the restaurant street. Recommend this hotel for sure!
