The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes.

It features an outdoor pool with solarium and sun loungers. Great stay! Had a comfortable and very tidy room with sea view. The breakfast was simple, but with good variety and tasty options.

Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

The spacious rooms are individually designed following the 4-seasons-of-the-year theme. Each features an LCD TV with in-room movies, free WiFi and a laptop-size safe. Great hotel in a central location. Staff were so friendly and even gave us a free upgrade. Rooftop pool was amazing.

The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The staff was Excellent. They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

The outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of sunsets or leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun. Guests can also eat outdoors by the pool. The staff, especially Olena, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Although I hadn’t booked my tour in advance, she managed to arrange a car with a very knowledgeable driver for the entire day. Francisco from the restaurant was also incredibly helpful and kind. The massage was amazing,and last but not least,the manager was so welcoming and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best time possible. The property is situated 20 minutes from downtown, offering a serene and peaceful environment. While this may pose a challenge for guests without a car, taxis are readily available at all hours.

Apartments feature a living area with a kitchenette. The staff was amazing. Our room was clean and had everything what we needed. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans too.
