All the staff was incredible, super nice and helped us with all the check in, check out, trails and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view and was really cozy!

Including an extensive breakfast buffet, made up of homemade and regional goodies, before we were taken round the chocolate factory. All in all, this was the best hotel experience I've had for a very long time

The room, surroundings and breakfast area are very well presented. Breakfast offerings are sufficient. Clean and comfortable. The hostess, Rita, is very friendly, welcoming and charming. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse consists a two-bedroom family suite, a double room, a single room, all with private bathroom with shower, and a communal lounge area with free tea-coffee services and a library. On the property are also two apartments features a living area, kitchen, one or two bedroom(s) and a bathroom with shower. A perfect stay with a lovely couple. The dogs were also lovely! We were so happy that we also had dinner and breakfast with them- highly recommend!

Magical place, on an estate down a rutted country lane, remote and quiet with only nature surrounding it. Excellent facilities- 2 pools, lots of shady places to sit and read a book or listen to the birds, responsive staff catering to your every request.

The rooms are spacious, the property in general has plenty room and the staff is really sweet. Would love to be back!

Located in the historic town of Vila Vicosa and 300 metres from Paco Ducal, Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas includes a 16th-century building, stables and mature gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and has an outdoor pool with a sun terrace. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk was great. If you need good internet this can be a problem. They gave me an extender which worked well. Highly recommend this property.
