The brightly coloured rooms are decorated with art-works and murals. Each features a flat-screen TV, minibar, telephone and an ultra-modern private bathroom. It was such a lovely experience overall, but what we remember the most is a very good sleep ( not sure if those were the cushions or the matraces that did the magic) very friendly and helpful stuff and tasty breakfast. The location was very convenient, couple of minutes away from the beach, the funicular with a good variety of restaurants around, and 10 min walking from the bus station.

Quinta das Lágrimas has a golf driving range and a 9-hole course. First, the staff is marvelous. We arrived early and were handled expertly, so we had a productive and fun day on the university campus and walking in the city. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally beautiful and dinner in the Gastropub was just what we wanted.

Jaoa was very informative and provided a great homemade breakfast and very kindly drove us around the lagoon, seafront and dropped us off at the train station.

Breakfast is also amazing.
