Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Featuring a privileged view of the mountains and the sea, the resort offers direct access to the beach, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a restaurant. Our 1 bdr garden unit with the hot tub was perfect for our one week stay. Attention to details in every aspect; beautiful linens, spa gowns & slippers, candles; herbal tea and sleep mist delivered late afternoon each day was welcomed after our touring; loved the double wide concrete tub; kitchen was small but served our needs perfectly with a cooktop stove, small fridge and all of the dishes/pans required for your stay; housekeeping service every day and a wonderful breakfast that I did not initially know was included but enjoyed. A la carte selection and service was great. Loved the views from the dining room looking over the ocean; our visit in Feb did not allow us to swim in the infinity pool but we enjoyed walks on the beach to watch the big waves. We had one dinner i n the dining room which was very good - I went out of my comfort zone and had cauliflower steak which I would have again. They grow their own herbs and veggies. Parking was plentiful and only a 20 drive to the airport. Good Proximity to everything in the island. This resort truly exceeded our expectations and we would return again.

The perfect accommodations and a stones throw from the lake, it was our favorite place we stayed in the island. Nestled into a lush garden landscape, we were completely enchanted walking through the property. The bungalows were so inviting, cozy and warmly decorated. The baskets of food and wine were a wonderful touch. We can’t wait to come back again!

Some rooms have a sea view. Everything was very good. The room, the location, the breakfast and the lovely hospitality of Suzanne and Jessica. We definitely recommend.

Free Wi-Fi access is included. It was gorgeous. The villa was everything you could wish for from the view to the decor to the breakfast. Everything was perfect.

Private bathrooms and cable TVs are standard in all rooms at Hotel Sete Cidades. Some include balconies, while others come with mountains views. The location was very central, while still being a bit removed from the louder areas in town. The staff really went above and beyond, especially Emilia who always gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, ice cream shops and sites.

My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey tones. They include extra long beds and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Suites also feature a minibar. Birthday cake shocked me, Thanks Helena and her great staff

The whole decoration of the Azorean Urban Lodge is ruled by modernity, colours and comfort. Each bedroom is dedicated to a different character and features a private bathroom, either inside the bedroom or in the hall. The place was really great, room was spacious and very clean
