Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. Housed in a former Alentejo convent, it dates back to the 12th century with 750 hectares. Ever since seeing pictures I've wanted to stay at this convent hotel and it was even better than I expected. If you stay you can explore the property freely, and there is so much to see. Annex room was decent enough but I'd stay in the convent itself next time. Enjoyed the adults-only pool and were able to order G&Ts delivered. Breakfast was also very nice. Walked one of the trails (6km) around the property. The on-site restaurant is very pretty and the food is quite good, though the restaurants in the nearest village are better.

Lovely accomodation in an amazing quiet rural location but in easy reach of great beaches such as Comporta . A lovely dinner based on local products and in-house wine . Clean and spacious accomodation.

The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. This restored property has comfortable rooms in an ancestral environment in the Portuguese Interior and includes a shop selling regional products. Joao and Branca were so lovely people, that I enjoyed my stay even haven fallen ill. The house is furnished with taste, the breakfast is rich and the house is well located. With the two souls inside I felt like at home. Thank you very much for the stay.

Located within a 10-minute drive from Beja Airport, the Monte da Diabroria – Agroturismo is a tranquil property in the Alentejo. The typically rural guest house features an outdoor swimming pool and a lush green garden. Very interesting place, it is a working farm. The people were very nice and helpful. Loved seeing the history of it. The bathroom was huge, loved the towel warmer.
