The location was excellent, close to the centre. The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was good and varied with the possibility of freshly cooked eggs or omelette.

Lovely staff with a lovely outdoor section. Location is slightly higher than I would like but you get used to the stairs. Altitude just makes small distances harder initially.

The owners are a German and his Peruvian wife. Both were super friendly and helped in organizing tours and transfers. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was great, too.

The hotel was located near the historic center and was very nice. Our room was very modern and well appointed. We requested a quiet room and we had one in the back that was very quiet. We used the hotel as a base for visiting Machu Picchu and it worked well. The price was very reasonably, almost half of what we would have paid at a US based hotel chain.

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum.
