Just a 10-minute walk from Kaiteriteri Beach, Kimi Ora Eco Resort offers rooms with a balcony and sea views. Guests enjoy free WiFi, free breakfast and a range of facilities including a spa and wellness centre. Great staff especially the welcoming receptioinist, we stayed in a nicely appointed lodge in the grounds with a view from the balcony. A nice breakfast is served in the main building with a great view over the tidal lagoon. There are some nice trails in native bush around the grounds one of which glow worms can be seen at night.

Location is perfect if you're travelling on your car. The views are lovely and the night sky is wonderful. I work as a housekeeper for a luxury lodge in Nelson and I must say our Tophouse Cottage looked fantastic; tidy and clean.

Mara is way beyond the standard of a regular B&B. High-end designer fittings. Tasteful furnishings and a nice level of privacy. The breakfast is homemade and healthy and the location is excellent. Nicky was a wonderful host.

Tucked away amongst a little piece of forest, this place is a quiet, comfortable space to relax and enjoy the sound of fantails and other birds. It’s designed extremely well, with everything you could need and the owners are lovely. Would love to come back.

Fabulous staff, gorgeous rooms, so calm, quiet and tranquil. We paid a little more for the Luxury Room - very spacious, probably half again the size of the Deluxe. Only 10 rooms, room 10 being the only Luxury room. Ask for a higher room number to be a little more private and away from the (not busy) road. The on-site restaurant was amazing, best duck I’ve ever had, and a perfect breakfast selection. The staff though are the biggest asset of this lodge, so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. It was very hard to leave.
