Perfect place to stay in Te Anau. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't fault anything. Lovely room, great facilities, very comfortable beds and who could argue with the view. Perfectly placed for a walk to the centre or a walk to the bird sanctuary.

Set in beautiful garden surroundings, this B&B is only 100 metres from the shores of Lake Te Anau. Each room includes cable TV, electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available. We were the only guests for two nights as the area got battered by one-in-a-century storm that we were not aware of. When we arrived, the whole town didn't have electricity but that didn't dampen our spirits. The owners provided extra blankets and I had the best sleep in months. The owners gave us recommendation on what to do on a spare day that we were supposed to spend cruising Doubtful Sound (cancelled due to the storm) and helped us a lot fixing the car. We'll book again for our next stay.

Located in central Invercargill, Ibis Styles Invercargill offers spacious self-contained apartments with free WiFi. The property features free fitness centre access and an in-house movie theatre. It also offers a games room with a billiards table. Stayed overnight only but it was really clean and comfortable.and central. I wish I had stayed another day to explore Invercargil.
