Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. The staff were absolutely wonderful, we got upgraded to a larger apartment with a kitchen and were even given a free pass to the hot springs which was very exciting! The apartment was huge, with a lovely balcony and view of the lake. If it hadn't been cloudy the stars would have been brilliant too. The kitchen was very well equipped and the staff were happy to help if we had any requests (not that we needed anything else!). The bed was extremely comfortable and the very large bath was delightful, as was the shower. The non-fogging mirror was also a nice surprise! My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. Lovely big apartment/house newly renovated. Had everything one needs as well as a dishwasher. Lovely couple managing the property. Close enough to Lake Tekepo without being in the busy tourist filled village. Burke's Pass is also full of history and is very quaint.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The location was perfect. Spectacular view of the lake and mountains. The apartment was very well kitted out with everything you could need. Andy went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item we had left behind. We would definitely stay here again.
