Surrounded by orchards, Te Mata Views Resort boasts a hot tub, outdoor pool, sauna and ice bath, free Wi-Fi and accommodation with an outdoor area offering lovely garden and mountain views. Second visit and as good as ever. Can never understand lower scores for this site. Clean, very clean, organised and good value. Exceptional front desk. You qould have to nitpick to find fault...

Surrounded by restaurants and cafes in Napier city centre, Motel de la Mer offers ocean-facing suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a balcony with ocean and city views. The owner is very friendly, and helped us with our queries even at night. Responsive to help messages even before the trip too. The room is extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. There is even a room spa bathtub, something which many facilities do not have. The location is very near the sea, which is of a very beautiful view. It is also about 5 mins away from town which has different shops and eateries. Very convenient to get food.

First off, Brin and Biddy were outstanding hosts. And the place was spacious and clean. The ocean front location made for a great view while relaxing in their spa. They loaned me a bike for a pleasant bike ride into Napier. Brin made reservations for us at a winery restaurant that was within easy walking distance. The food and wine were excellent. Definitely this stay was a highlight of our New Zealand trip.
