The bed and breakfast also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Hannah was a great host (and cook) and the rooms and facilities were ultra clean and tidy. The bed was super comfortable and the under floor heating in the bathroom is a plus!

Lakeside Motel & Apartments Te Anau is 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre. Guests can take a trip to the lovely Milford Sound, which is 90 minutes’ drive away. Queenstown is a 2-hour drive away. Great location with a nice view.

Set in beautiful garden surroundings, this B&B is only 100 metres from the shores of Lake Te Anau. Each room includes cable TV, electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available. Very welcoming owners that offered helpful advice on our plans heading in and out of Te Anau. Great breakfast and the option to use the kitchen facilities.

Situated next to Lake Te Anau, Kingsgate Hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. It offers excellent walking opportunities nearby and free onsite parking. Unlimited free WiFi is included.

The comfortable rooms offer en suite bathrooms and modern facilities. The hotel has a communal lounge with a fireplace. Since there are no taxis in town my husband and I had such a hard time walking to the hotel from the bus station with two large suitcases. The manager Justin Ludlow stepped right up and agreed to bring our suitcases down to meet us at the bus station when we were leaving town after we had shopped and had lunch. So kind! Thank you Justin!
