We booked this expecting it to be a nice hotel, but only when we met up with a friend who's an Oslo local did we find out that it is considered the best hotel in the city. It's easy to understand why. Luxury without pretention, excellent service, the best beds we had on our entire trip through Norway. It was a hotel we actually looked forward to co9ming "home" to each day. The breakfast really was exceptional. It was simply on point and current in every single respect, which is not typical of "institution" type hotels that often rely on their reputation. To top it off, the location was perfect. Flawless.

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed at in Oslo (and I've tried lots of Clarion, Comfort and Thon hotel). The room was really clean and warm (loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom). I stayed in the 6th floor with a nice view. The complementary breakfast in the restaurants were really good and I liked the overall vibe of the hotel with all the social areas.

Saga Hotel Oslo, WorldHotels Crafted’s rooms are elegantly decorated with Scandinavian design. Each room includes a writing desk, flat-screen TV with cable channels and a minibar. Every single staff member was outstanding. Our room was a good size. The hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to all parts of Oslo with a tram stop just around the corner and easy walking to shops & restaurants. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to central station but the tram is an easy alternative. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The work desk is an added bonus. Bathroom is a good size and functional. Breakfast was the best that we have experienced so far in any of the Scandinavian countries and cities. Our special thanks to Marius and Jacob for making our stay exceptional. This will be our go to hotel whenever we are in Oslo.
