I'm unsure if I would recommend it with kids but it was perfect for a couple. There's a king bed accessible with stairs, a living room with a couch, a table, a small kitchen, a nice bathroom and plenty of storage space. It would be a great place to stay for more than a week as you can fully get out of your bags and live locally for a while. The social space on the rooftop was fantastic, a great place to potentially socialize, work and all. Breakfast was also very good. I found the location pretty great, it's a 30mn walk from Centraal Station and 15-20mn walk from the beginning of central Amsterdam. There's a metro entrance less than 5mn away that leads to Centraal Station too. There's also a really nice street with restaurants 5mn walk away on the other side of the Skinny Bridge.

Set in a 19th-century building, the spacious hotel rooms have their own features. All rooms are stylishly furnished with parquet floors, high quality beds and modern facilities. Very well organized staff, very kind, very polite, always smiling and greeting and so helpfull for whatever you ask (or don't ask), all of the staff is great, especially the cleaning ladies are doing an amazing job. Nice, comfortable and modern rooms, spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel is the BEST location you could have. We also got a gift from the hotel at the check out :) This hotel has everything you need, is so worthy and we are so satisfied with our choice and can't wait to come back in this hotel.
