Carla was an exceptional host and it was only a pity we weren't able to stay longer to truly enjoy the beautiful garden (with blooming tulips and fritillaries) and more of Groningen. The main room and kitchen area were sizeable and pleasant. The bathroom was sensibly and stylishly updated. The breakfast was the usual in the Netherlands with hard-boiled eggs, cheeses and croissants and buns, yogurt, some fruit, everything you might expect and she served it when we requested it through the internal phone line. It was conveniently located to the centre of Groningen.

Groningen is not only a lively student city but also a beautiful city to visit. Cozy hotel in the city center. Building with historical significance, early twentieth century European art nouveau with colonial influences. Spacious and clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
