Individually designed rooms are fitted with classic wood furnishings and air conditioning. They have a safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee maker. We stayed at the Tjiong townhouse. As guests of a townhouse, we got a complimentary tour of the Blue Mansion by Sally (I hope I'm spelling well her name). We were already delighted with the Blue Mansion and the townhouse but after Sally's enthusiastic sharing of the fantastic history of the Mansion, the life of Cheong Fatt Tze and the principles of Feng Shui we definitely fell in love with the place and Georgetown. We feel privileged and honored for having stayed at the Tjiong and having visited the Blue Mansion for breakfast and swimming pool. Thanks to the love of the conservationists, future generations will be able to experience the magic of these places. We are forever grateful to the people which developed and worked on these projects and to the staff that daily takes very good care of the guests. Thank you!

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. this hostel was the highlight of my Penang trip and a dream for all crazy cat ladies like me (send my regards to lovely Latte) 🤭 check in was seamless, facilities were clean and the shower was one of the best I’ve seen in hostel-style accommodations. The property is just a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Penang Museum and the large Chinese clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Penang International Airport is a convenient 30-minute drive away. We loved being in a beautiful collection of Peranakan objects. The room was spacious and delightful. A knockout place to stay for its uniqueness.

Noordin Mews is situated a 5-minute walk from Komtar and 1st Avenue. Heritage Area is a 10-minute walk from the hotel while Gurney Drive is a 15-minute drive away. Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

My suite was spacious, filled with antique charm, and had all the essentials, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and a cozy vibe. The location is perfect, just steps from Chulia Street, Blue Mansion, and Armenian Street, making it so easy to explore Penang’s vibrant street art and food scene, yet it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff who took care of us were incredibly warm and helpful, sharing great local tips. Highly recommend for a memorable Penang stay!

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. This is my second time staying at the Campbell House. The rooms are beautiful. The bed is comfy. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location can’t be beat!
