The staff was really friendly and it was extremely easy to communicate with them via WhatsApp. We were able to order everything we needed at it was brought to us in no time. The lounge chairs at the beach were included in the price of the room.

Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. ADO International Bus Station is 400 metres away and Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal is 400 metres from the hotel. We loved the rooftop pool and lounge area, perfect balance of shade and sun options. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and we even got a free upgrade to a room with a lovely balcony. The road was quiet and had security, the area felt safe at night. The host was very friendly and accommodating, included clear instructions to access the property, recommended local restaurants, and was available by text at all times. We can’t recommend this location enough!

Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view. WOW! This is quite simply the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We were fortunate enough to get a free upgrade after we let the property know we were celebrating our recent engagement and the room was incredible, enormous space, huge comfortable bed, giant balcony with whirlpool bath, plus welcome gifts and a sweet treat left in our room every night. The beach club is fantastic, never a rush on or lack of sunbeds, the staff are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond in catering to whatever wants or needs you may have. The pool is wonderful and a great place to cool off in the afternoon heat, the swim up bar is fantastic and the cocktails are incredible, and fairly priced relative to the rest of the island. The breakfast menu is extensive and delicious, and we also ate at the restaurant on our final night which was the best meal we had on the island. We also ended up opting to pay for a transfer back to Cancun airport through the hotel, which was a seamless and calm experience compared to sorting taxis/ferry/ADO ourselves. Huge thanks to all the staff for honestly making this the trip of a lifetime for us, we'll certainly be coming back!

The apartment provides a restaurant serving American cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. The host Madjid was very friendly and he was very kind to host our small daughter cause we made a mistake in the reservation. Thanks Madjid! The accommodation is very central, next to Playa Norte and Playa Centro. They cleaned it every day. Thanks!!! I loved that he offered water to refill the bottles. This way there is less plastic so it contributes to having a more sustainable island. I wish all hosts would do this.

Casa de los Sueños offers air-conditioned rooms, decorated in a contemporary style. Each room includes a mini fridge and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Carlos the manager was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

Facing the beachfront, Casa Takywara offers 4-star accommodation in Holbox Island and features a garden, private beach area and terrace. Located around a few steps from Playa Holbox, the hotel with free WiFi is also 1.8 km away from Punta Coco. The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Location was ideal - right on a beautiful part of the beach with very little seaweed, a short walk into town and out of the busy hustle and bustle touristy area. Room was big and very clean. Property was very well taken care of and staff were lovely.

All rooms feature a balcony or terrace. a real gem of a place beautiful clean pool..breakfast was good but a little too much the same each day..the owner and staff very friendly and helpful..this place is like home with dogs cats bees and chickens..the best part for me was there was ample hot water for my must have showers

Guests can explore the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba. The Lunata Hotel is within a short walk of the boutiques, shops and nightlife of the trendy Fifth Avenue. This was my 4th visit to Hotel Lunata in Playa del Carmen since 2002. On the surface, very little has changed over the years. In this case, that is a very good thing! Of course there has been some modernization in that time, such as very good WiFi for each room, however the warm and inviting room design, the friendly staff and the overall impression the hotel leaves have all not changed. We again had a very pleasant visit and were sad to leave. The breakfast is very basic with some cereals, tea, coffee and toast. It’s enough to get you going into the day, but it’s not a feast and is not the main focus of this boutique hotel. It is self-service in the Lunata natural garden, just like it was in 2002. We brought some fruits from the market and the staff offered to peel and cut the fruit for us. Fantastic service.

The tropical-style suites at this beachfront hotel feature a balcony with sea views, a fan and private bathrooms with a shower, toilet and free toiletries. The location was amazing, really quite and can enjoy the (private) Beach. We have enjoyed it that much and extended one more Day. The staff are friendly and attentive, plus the breakfast was very good.
