Very clean and updated - we stayed in room 102 and it was very nice. Hubby was pleasantly surprised and I was relieved because I knew he was nervous about staying in TJ. Restaurant food was fairly priced and delicious. He had the machaca breakfast and it was huge! He loved the shower in our room too. Parking was plentiful and we felt safer with the lot being a courtyard-type of place to park. Amenities included a couple bottles of water, shampoo and soap in the shower and sink. No conditioner so bring yours if you use it.

Not sure why but the elevator doesn't go to all floors.

Please note: - Posada El Rey Sol is a friendly, intimate and colonial-style boutique hotel located in the centre of Ensenada Mexico. It has a traditional Mexican decor and an outdoor pool. Staff were really nice And all restaurants, attractions, are close by
