Decorated in a Kasbah-style, the air-conditioned rooms at Caravane feature a wardrobe, and the private bathrooms are complete with a shower and toilet. A surprise gorgeous courtyard with pool, welcomed us from behind the walls of the Riad. Our room was spacious with many windows, and it overlooked part of the village and a beautiful valley. A comfortable bed and all amenities was what we got for our one night stay. Dinner was served in the elegant dining space. Tagine and seffa were delicious, as were the wines, and breakfast the following morning. We loved the endless array of jams and pickled condiments, interesting breads, and fruit. The staff, led by Hassan and Slimane were perfect hosts! They greeted us with tea on the terrace, a wonderful Moroccan custom. All decorations were hand selected by the owner to reflect the region and its neighbors: the Mali sitting room was lovely.

Guest rooms at the Sawadi are colourful and feature a traditional Moroccan décor. Each has an en suite bathroom with a shower, separate toilet and mosaic tiling. Rooms offer a view of the Atlas Mountains or the riad’s gardens. Both the ecolodge and the staff were fantastic. It's difficult to find something better. Nicolas, with his team, Aziza, Said, and all the others, are great and took really good care of us. It was like being part of a family. The lodge is beautiful, from the design of the apartments, the park, and the swimming pool. I would recommend it to anyone, and I hope to go back again.
