What a fantastic stay! The riad itself is magnificent, with intricate carvings, mosaic floors and traditional tiles throughout. There are lots of open areas for guests to sit and read, take tea or just soak up the atmosphere. Our room (the Suite Room) was also palatial, with a triple height ceiling, traditional furniture and personal touches throughout. It truly felt like we had stepped back in time to live the life of a wealthy Fassi merchant a century ago! Breakfast each morning was terrific - both in terms of quality (delicious fresh-baked local breads, cheese, homemade granola etc) and setting, on the huge rooftop terrace with views of the Medina and surrounding hills. We also very much enjoyed lunch and dinner in the intimate restaurant, accompanied by some excellent Moroccan wines and interesting conversations with other diners. However, what makes the place truly standout is the fantastic personal service and attention to detail lavished on their guests by Noor, Salem, Hassan, and the rest of the team. You may arrive as paying guests, but you leave as friends. There aren't many places that you can honestly say that about.

The riad was beautiful and spacious and serene. There was a pool and a tranquil garden. The place was better than the pictures. Our room was on the second level and it was huge with high high ceilings. We travelled in Morocco for 17 days and it was the best accommodation for us. The location was outside of the Medina but very close to one of the gates so access was very easy. It was nice and quiet there. We had dinner there on our first night and it was great. It also has a roof top where you can have snacks and drinks to see the sunset. Do not hesitate to book this riad.
