Initially I was a bit hesitant as it is a bit pricey; but wow; it was astonishing. It is really like staying in a palace. Really impressed. Central location in the Madina. Every attractions of the Madina is walking distance. Max 15 minutes any directions you go. If you love historical property; this is perfect for you. In a 17th century house you get all modern ammonites. The hotel staff are very nice. And yes all images they show of the building are correct and not from the nearby mosque. I can tell as me being a photographer I notice these carefully. 😀

Dar Roumana is a 13-minute drive from the centre of Fès and 4 km from the train station. It offers a half-covered terrace with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the Medina of Fès.

It was a 10/10 place. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our Tamarind room had plenty of space, an amazing bathroom with double shower and perfect views to the Riad. The architecture and decoration is just stunning. Totally recommend Dar Roumana. Delicious breakfast served at the rooftop which gives you a great panoramic view of the Medina and the Meneries tombs. Special mention to Nesha at reception who also does Henna tattoos.

The hotel location is very close to the Main Street which is easy to find after parked car. 5 mins to the blue gate and 15 mins to the royal palace. The hotel is very clean and staffs are very friendly and welcome. Muhammad welcomed us with a great smile and offered Moroccan tea. The next morning, we had our breakfast at the rooftop. we booked a local tour guide for half day from hotel recommendation. Hamza who is another hotel staff also helped us on the 2nd day a lot when we need more tea during the day and breakfast to go.

Riad Anata is situated in Fes, less than a 10-minute walk from Pleace Batha.

We loved staying in this ultra-grand ryad in Fes. The bedrooms are spacious and luxurious. The main floor lobby area is like a palace! The garden dining area is tranquil and verdant. The rooftop terrace has a lovely view over all the medina. The location is very close to the medina’s main street. We highly recommend this ryad!

Rachid was such an amazing host. He makes sure that your stay is outstanding! The breakfast is delicious and the original details in the rooms and the patio are just beautiful.The views from the terrace are magical and the location is in a really nice area.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Very clean and nicely decorated. The room had a small refrigerator which was good to have with the warm weather. Location is good. Short distance to the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) and the shops in the old medina. Dinner and breakfast was very tasty. We had reserved dinner only for the night of our arrival, but the dinner was so good we decided to have dinner at the Riad the remaining nights as well (instead of in town). Both of us had a Hamman and a massage. They were very good, but the massage was excellent. One of the best we have had. Staff members, Momo and Midi, were friendly, helpful, had a good sense of humor and made us feel at home. Would certainly recommend this place if you plan to go to Fez.

Juliet and Abdul are the cutest hosts. They welcomed us like family, provided a gluten free breakfast for me and made us feel like we have a second home. The room was clean and they also had a nice rooftop terrace. We enjoyed our stay here.
