We arrived late , but he was not impatient at all , and provided hot water for us to cook . During breakfast , the host came specially to care about our situation . What say special thank to Tariq who was the main staff taking care of us during our stay there. Tariq is very friendly and professional. Guests can enjoy panoramic views on the rooftop terrace and relax in the Moroccan lounge. Mohammed and Hamsa were very helpful in responding to my request seeking emergency medical assistance to address a severe cold/sore throat and stomach ailment that immobilized me, making my stay miserable. Got me checked in to a nearby hospital which successfully treated and released me within about 4 hours that turned the prospects of my trip around 180 degrees.

Set within Fes Medina, Dar Attajalli offers traditional Moroccan décor, a rooftop terrace with views of the Medina and a fountain. The spice, antique and perfume Bazaar is only a 3-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. My brother and I had a wonderful stay here - this was my first time in Morocco and my first stay at a riad, and it did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was - so opulent and absolutely stunning! 🌟 Many thanks to Noor, who arranged our transportation from the train station - such a huge help, as we never would have found the riad in the medina on our own! Noor was so welcoming, greeting us with biscuits and a lovely mint tea while we checked in. I absolutely loved my room - so comfortable and full of Moroccan charm. Breakfast on the rooftop was so delicious, and we also enjoyed a glass of wine up there one evening while watching the sunset. ✨ The location was excellent for exploring the medina, and there were helpful signs everywhere guiding us back to the riad. I was so impressed with our two-night stay that I would love to stay again when I return to Fes, and actually a friend already wants to book after seeing my photos! I will always recommend this riad for friends travelling to Morocco.
