We spent here one night while in Fes and this was such an amazing experience. Hosts are very helpful and accommodating, provided good tips on what to see and where to go. We arrived before official check-in time and they let us drop our staff in the room before leaving to explore the city.
Property: it is very nicely decorated in Moroccan traditional style, clean and well maintained. The room had an A/C, a wardrobe and private bathroom.
Breakfast: good with various Moroccan breads and additions: honey, marmalade, butter, olives - and served earlier upon request.
View: amazing view from the rooftop terrace. And mint tea offered all the time. So, very nice place to enjoy sunset with a cup of tea before going to sleep
Location: not far from the Blue Gates, or Bab Boujloud (5-8 mins walk). Very close to the main street and in walkable distance from the main points of interest in medina.

Set within Fes Medina, Dar Attajalli offers traditional Moroccan décor, a rooftop terrace with views of the Medina and a fountain. The spice, antique and perfume Bazaar is only a 3-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. Stayed Dec 14 - Dec 17, 2023.

Dar Faracha Fes is set a 2-minute walk from the Medina of Fes and offers a rooftop terrace with a view of the city. It is traditionally designed and guests are free to relax on the patio or in the lounge. The Dar Faracha is a beautiful house, made very comfortable for guests. But what makes really the difference is the host: Maroud is able to make you feel at home, giving all the necessary assistance you may have, tailored for your needs. His friendliness is highly appreciated together with his professionalism. And what to say about the very nice lady who takes care of the breakfast and dinner? She is an unbelievable cook and a lovely person: if you stay there, ask for a dinner; you will be surprised by the quality and the flavor of food, a very enjoyable journey in the Moroccan cuisine. We loved our staying at Dar Faracha and recommend it: next time in Fes we will surely return there.

Unique, quirky design, lovely food and staff, accommodating all of our needs.
Interior design, roof top, atmosphere, breakfast table setting
Absolutely stunning property. Every detail of the restoration of this Dar was so beautiful. We loved the experience of staying in such a magical place in the heart of the medina. Each room with Kate’s designer eye choosing the perfect textiles and furniture to compliment the space. Amazing rooftop views. Our food was some of the best we had in Morocco and the staff were very hospitable and accommodating to our requests and needs. One of my favorite places to stay in Morocco for a step back in time.
Meryem was incredible. She went above and beyond to take care of all our needs ( organizing tours, help out with accommodations ) she was outrageously friendly and welcoming . The riad itself is gorgeous with great design and Architecture . The room is very clean bed is very comfortable . Breakfast was fabulous . The entire place is a piece of art . This was probably the best experience I have ever during my stay in Morocco
Stunning interior design, great surroundings, and really helpful host. It was great to have such a comfortable stay just a few steps away from some of the most historically significant landmarks in Morocco.
I loved the breakfast, the interior design of the rooms, the lovely hosts.
