The staff were so friendly. The food and drinks were excellent. We did the Arrack tasting at Rope Walk bar and it was enjoyable and informative. It was a great location for getting around Galle and having a pool was also an added bonus.

This was our second stop upon arrival in Sri Lanka, after a night and day in Colombo. It has been my and my daughter's top favorite hotel and stay, because mainly of its colonial and historical charm. A wonderful place, led by a female manager, which is to be underlined, a very nice lady. The staff is local, the attention to detail as well (!), the food and breakfast are super copious, generous and fresh, there is a nice à la carte menu, and the pool is wonderful. My daughter enjoyed it! We were lucky to be and visit Galle during the week-end, so we didn't feel the over-touristic crowd and atmosphere, since many Sri Lankan were strolling along the city walls, visiting. This is definitely a very touristic spot, the many shops attest this, but there are a few very nice and niche places. Stay min 2 nights, and if you can and want you may tour the nearby beaches and towns and wildlife reserves from there, this is possible. We've also enjoyed our train ride from Colombo to Galle, which is not too long and absolutely wonderful in the lush coastline greenery. We loved our room, its setup, the geometry and decoration of the hotel, the beautiful purple lotus flowers and the local touches everywhere. Chic. It pleased my eye every day!

Featuring lush green gardens, it operates a 24-hour front desk and provides complimentary parking on site. I really enjoyed my one night stay. A real bed and breakfast on very nice grounds, great location, great breakfast and Paddy was a very hospitable host that I enjoyed talking with. Great value. Recommend!

Rooms feature classic Sri Lankan-style furnishings. It offers a writing table, clean linen sheets and windows offering direct sunlight. Bathrooms are en suite. We had a very clean and comfortable stay in Seagreen with a newly renovated bathroom, strong AC and good location within Galle Fort. Shower gel, shampoo & conditioner were provided, which was a pleasant surprise. A kettle and jug of water was provided. Water is refillable at a cost of LKR 200. They have a menu for food, drinks and activities, although we didn't try any of them as the prices were quite steep. We rose early so the noise from the school children didn't really affect us.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. It was a hidden oasis. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Staff and food were amazing!

Fort Bliss is about 1 km from the Galle town centre and 7 km from Unawatuna Beach. Bandaranaike International Airport is 160 km away. We were greeted with large refreshing smoothies,which was a nice welcome. It is a tiny place, only four rooms in a lovely period house with a small garden and a view to the ramparts and the sea. Our room was huge with a big bed and a good bathroom. We were very well looked after by Sunil and Ibram. We have never before had such huge plates of gorgeous tropical fruits at breakfast, which was all delicious. It is a wonderful little oasis in the Fort just near Flagstaff Rock.
