We spent a week in the charming mansion Camellia, centrally and quietly located, a few minutes walk away from the beach and center. The building is a little hidden from the street and is surrounded by a blooming garden. The room with all amenities was spacious and quiet. Our host Paddy spoiled us with a delicious and varied breakfast, he showed us the eating habits of the country with the respective national dishes. His humor and knowledge of the country and its people was unique, he helped his guests and also us with reservations, excursions and transfers. We highly recommend this property and will book this accommodation again on our visit.

Nice, spacious room with a large bathroom. Clean and well-maintained. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast - highly recommend the hoppers! We weren’t able to enjoy the rooftop bar due to weather, but the view was great nevertheless.

Excellent location - within the fort area and a short walk to all the main sights of Galle, nice views over green spaces and the ocean, a rooftop terrace with a good view of the sunset. A clean and spacious room with air con and fan. Beautiful home! We had the room with a terrace which was lovely. The place is run by such a kind family - we enjoyed chatting to the Grandfather and the Granddaughter.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. There are not many properties where all points you can give are actually not enough, but the Sergeant House is such a place. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom-Villa with our kids and had a fantastic time. It’s literally impossible to say what we have enjoyed more, the attention given to us by the staff or the amazing property. We are definitely looking forward to repeat this experience again.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. Dunes was a very calm and quiet hotel. Well worth the price and the location was awesome- both in terms of reachability and the property itself. Seven to ten minutes walk to the beach and the surrounding eateries suited our needs well. Hope to visit again soon!
