Everything - room was way bigger than expected, with 2 full size rooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony and a sitting down area. Also, the hot tub/private onsen was way bigger than it seemed in the photos, and could easily fit 2 people at the same time. The onsen room was also way better looking than in the photos. Also, despite saying that it doesn’t serve dinner, the ‘light meals’ at the lounge are more than enough to satisfy given you can take as many as you want, and quite delicious. My favourite meals here were during the tea time though, so make sure not to miss it.

This hotel really took care of us. They, can secure you to rent a bikes directly in hotel, they can pick you up or give a ride if needed. Staff was really friendly and they could speak English. But the most amazing part is the room where you sleep on tatami and have breathtaking view on Mt. Fuji. They also have their own onsen and massage chairs.

A 7-minute walk from Lake Kawaguchi, the 2-person cottages at Ururun have a quaint European charm and offer a spa bath with Mount Fuji views. The hostess was very helpful. She ordered delivery, gave us directions, and even took us to the station after checkout (a great surprise, we weren't expecting it). The house is beautiful, clean, with air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, good bathroom amenities, nice futons, and blankets. We used the bicycles for sightseeing. There are many well-kept flowers in the outdoor area.

Perfect location, right next to the train and bus station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. 10 minutes walk to the lake. Our tatami room is very clean and tidy, with the amazing view of Mt. Fuji right outside of our window. We were so lucky with the weather as well, cloudless blue sky for the whole two days so we had superb view of the Fuji everyday. It was very interesting to try the traditional Japanese room and to sleep in the futons. Top floor public bath is very nice too. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
