We loved everything about staying at Matsui Honkan and look forward to the next time we can visit. The whole property is well taken care of, with beautiful traditional features and peaceful classical music playing throughout. There is a high level of attention to detail with thoughtful touches, such as an origami crane to greet you, pjs to wear, and a special treat for our honeymoon. A true highlight was the incredibly kind and cheerful staff. They make this place truly special! We also loved the onsen, what a gorgeous place and a real treat. Best place we’ve ever stayed!

Great Ryokan very conveniently located in Kyoto! It was a very luxurious and relaxing feeling with nice extras touches such as printed photographs, free (and amazing!) tea ceremony and a nice short evening concert. I've seen tea ceremonies being sold for €200 or above elsewhere, so this is a good thing to include in the price. It's a short but very dignified event. The room and the beds were very comfortable and the onsen was great. We especially appreciated the small gifts for our honeymoon, thanks so much!

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. 環境清幽也非常整潔，這次入住日式單人套房，空間舒適、設備齊全，床墊也很舒服，地理位置也相當便利，旅館的主人很用心與親切，此次住宿體驗非常完美。
