Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Very clean, central, and neat stay. The staff was cordial and the collective amenities in the common area were not short than spectacular, from prime coffee-making tools to high-quality beans and teas. We stayed 3 nights here and it was a great experience. Service was great, dinner incredible, room is also comfortable and clean. One impressive part is the little gift e.g. Japanese style bags shared during the stay- very unique during my entire trip in Japan.

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Quiet, traditional tatami room, very clean and organized. There is a small table with a mirror, very cute. The manager was very nice and kind. Maybe he's the kindest person I have evert met during my trip to Japan. We even had hot water ready for tea upon arrival in our room. We were able to check in early as the room were available at that time. He also kept our luggages for a few hours on the day we checked out. The shared bathroom was super clean. The location is very good too, close to Kyoto station and there is a big and very beautiful pagoda nearby.
