Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. It was clean, well equipped. Staff is friendly, common areas are incredible. The coin laundry saved me.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in giving travel suggestions. The atmosphere in the place is lovely, clean, cozy and comfortable. Exceptionally good breakfast with super fresh fruit and Jam!

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Friendly staff, big rooms, super clean, nice hot bath. Recommended.

Great location, right next to the main station in Kyoto (despite that, the room was quiet, and we couldn’t hear the trains). The room was very spacious and clean, with towels replaced daily and cleaning every two days. Additionally, there was coffee, tea, and water in the room, as well as facial care kits. During our trip to Japan, we stayed in three different hotels, and this one was definitely the best—such a comfortable stay, and I would gladly come back again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience in a traditional Ryokan. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Very unique experience that made for a great trip in Japan.

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Everything was perfect. Location, the premises, the staff, the room. I ve never been in a place with such an aura. It was a unique experience. I already miss my room..
