Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. Both Kiyomizu Gojo and Shichijo stations for the Keihan Main Line are situated within a 10-minute walk. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Everything, wonderful team, the owners truly treated us as 'guests'. The perfect way to arrive as first timers in Kyoto. Slept very well, super breakfast. Despite other guests in a compact space, the Guesthouse ambience made us all very respectful and accommodating. Great location a little away from the tourist scene but has it's own local charm and easy walking reach from temples and sightseeing. Coffee in the lounge in front of the bog tree just what we needed in the morning.

This non-smoking hotel provides in-room massages service can be arranged. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. Great ryokan! It's my first time staying at ryokan and my dad was amazed on how clean and well maintained the ryokan is! It's more than 50 years old but everything looks clean and spotless. Tea ceremony is very educative as a matcha lover and the traditional clothes are also a plus. Recommend staying here (pricy though). We got new year japanese special breakfast and the food was a loootttt! We are very full until afternoon... we also got to taste some good traditional Japanese food we never taste before. Location is close to tourist attractions using bus (some temples nearby and lots of restaurants nearby if using bus). Great experience in kyoto!
