It is less than a 10-minute drive from Trieste. We loved everything, from the location - easy accessible from the main road, free parking on site, looking at the sea, super helpful and friendly staff, complementary aperitif, lovely breakfast and a room with a view of the gorgeous Adriatic sea. Also there is long boardwalk for enjoying the sea air. They were so nice toward my two, big, dogs and that is one of the most important things for me. My full recommendation of this hotel and next time in Trieste this hotel will be our only choice.

The property has garden and city views, and is 3.4 km from Trieste Port. Free private parking is available and the bed and breakfast also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. This is a real B&B, the hosts live on the premises and there are only 3 rooms, so it's really cozy. The house is amazingly designed, full of eye-candy and style, you can tell that the hosts took years collecting nice things and arranging them around the property for their own enjoyment -- but now you can enjoy them as well! They are super nice and friendly, if you want advice on what to do around town or just a nice chat over breakfast, they are always around (but not so much "around" that you feel uncomfortable at all!) The rooms are spacious and each has something great -- a balcony overlooking the yard or a jacuzzi -- and the beds are great. The furnishings are high-quality, better than you would get in most hotels. If you are arriving by car, there is parking on the premises -- but do listen to the hosts about the direction you should approach the house from, otherwise you can have a challenging drive up the narrow and steep alleys (but the way they advise is totally without issues, even if 2-3 minutes longer). All in all, a great experience and we will surely be back!

A personal tour guide is available upon request. The building and room were stunningly beautiful. Probably one of the most beautiful we have stayed in, attention to detail was perfect. Decoration was really WOW. The host Manuele was super nice, friendly and knowledgeable 10/10.

Set in the heart of Trieste's historic centre, Boutique Hotel Albero Nascosto is less than 5 minutes' walk from the seafront. Set in 3 floors without lift, it offers classic rooms with wood floors, free WiFi and satellite TV. We had the apartment, separate from the main hotel. Perfect. It is about 100m further up the street, on the 3rd (top) floor of an old apartment building. Basically a spacious suite with a large, comfortable and (retro) stylish living room/kitchen-diner in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. This worked well for us as we made our own breakfast and used the apartment’s washing machine. Good restaurants and bars on the street and good walking access to the rest of town. The apartment overlooks a small terraced park through which one can climb up to the cathedral, castle, Winckelman Museum, and a plaza with a view over the city: good for sunset with a drink from one of the kiosks. The hotel staff are great.
