We had stopped for one night on our way from Taormina to Palermo and we had stayed at some nice expensive hotels but this was by far our favorite they had air con and smart tvs comfortable beds and large rooms, great shower pressure. We had a balcony overlooking the harbor and some big cruise ships came in which was fun to look at. We walked into town and had parking right out front.

All rooms at the Palace San Giorgio come with modern design furniture and are equipped with minibar, air conditioning, and LCD TV with SKY channels. Some rooms overlook the valley and feature a stone bathroom. The hotel was right in the middle of everything you want to see in Ragusa Ibla! The hotel is a combination of a palace and a convent that were seamlessly connected and renovated into a beautiful hotel. The room was modern and very clean, and the breakfast that was served in an upper floor had an amazing view and the ability to enjoy breakfast outdoors if you would like. There were so many Delicious choices, including eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, fruit, juices, and different types of coffees made when you ask, all of the staff was super helpful and super kind, including Sophia at the front desk and at breakfast!

It’s located right on the edge of the Valley of the Temples park. From the swimming pool, you can admire breathtaking views of the Temple of Concordia and the Temple of Heracles — especially stunning when lit up at night. Calling it a B&B hardly does it justice — it’s more like an estate. The grounds are vast, filled with olive trees, palm trees, agave, mulberry, peach trees, lemon, orange, and apple trees, along with many other plants I can’t even name. The garden seamlessly blends into the forested area of the archaeological park. And it’s also a bit of a mini zoo — home to all sorts of birds (chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, parrots, peacocks), and four-legged friends (cats, dogs, pigs, guinea pigs, donkeys), plus countless fish and reptiles. Salvadore and his family warmly welcome us and gave us all the trip tips and restaurant recommendation. It truly felt like staying with friends, not just as a guest. The breakfast here is also a must-have, with an incredibly rich selection of, including homemade jams and yogurt. One of the best stays we’ve had on our travels so far. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely look for a chance to return!
