The location is good for runners/bikes with dedicated lane on street, supermarket Despar was half a km away or ~7 min walk. The area has lot of restaurants, beach bars and it is not far away from the port. The beach was nice for us, it is shallow with crystal clear water, but the beach can get busy in afternoon. The hotel has a pool which is not that big but wasn't that busy for us during a peak summer period. Room was decently sized, cleaned daily and towels can be changed daily if you request it, AC was working fine and was okay to leave on entire night without feeling dry and cold in the morning. Slippers were provided. Breakfast was in a buffet format, many croissants, basic eggs and bacon, sweets, porridge, yogurt etc. For a summer holiday stay in Italy it was a good breakfast offer. Staff are very, very friendly so just ask questions about anything you need or you have problems with. The hotel doesn't have an iron, but the staff were kind enough to lend us a steamer for our clothes. They also arranged taxi for us both for arrival and departure from the airport with no hiccups. The hotel has several recommendations for restaurants, including one of their own which has a small discount. Cagliari is 15 minutes by bus, stop is 3 min walk from hotel, ticket costs 1.3 EUR one-way/person buy at the beach bar. The highlight for us was the fact the hotel is fine to allow the use of beach towel and lending of sun loungers, beach umbrella as well as provide access to pool for people who have already checked out on their last day. You can store the luggage safely and there is a toilet near the reception.

Sa Domu Cheta offers an original design with its complete renovation of the first floor of a historic building. Here you can admire early 20th-century architecture, Art Nouveau design, exposed-stone walls and exposed-wood beams. The location was perfect. An easy 7 minute walk from the train station, right outside the old city, and down the block from the botanical gardens. The staff was helpful with things to see and do, restaurants etc. the breakfast was fantastic.

Rooms are fitted with parquet floors and wooden furnishings, a coffee machine and a kettle. Each room features a modern-style bathroom with design wash basin, large shower and both toiletries and a hairdryer. Most rooms have a balcony. The room was much larger than we expected and the host, Enrico, was the true definition of a good host. He greeted us with a coffee during the check-in process, gave us some very good pointers on where to go in the city (sightseeing, dining, etc.) and even accepted to let us leave our luggage during our last day in Cagliari (flight was late in the evening). Also, items in the room such as snacks, coffee pods and so on were replaced daily and we were even left a complimentary soft drink each in the room. Regarding location, the area might seem dodgy at first, but rest assured that it is very safe and very close (walking distance) to the heart of the city. Would seriously recommend this place.

The staff, location, the room was nice and clean, everything was awesome. Highly recommend!

Guest House Camilla provides classic-style rooms with free WiFi. It is set in central Alghero, a 5-minute walk from the sea.

Rooms at the Camilla all come equipped with a TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom. They also feature a balcony and soundproofing. The host Raffael was very nice and accommodating. The room was beautifully decorated, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room had private access to a cute balcony where we could take breakfast. They also offered all towels and amenities. The best was the breakfast. The idea was that we could take anything from the fridge and the kitchen, making our own breakfast and enjoying it on the balcony/patio. This way, we only ate what we wanted and didn’t waste anything. Plus they had all the bins for recycling and filtered tap water. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend.
