The stay was fantastic overall! The location was great, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A big highlight was the free shuttle service to La Pelosa beach, super convenient if you don’t want to pay for parking €1.50/€2 per hour. Giancarlo, the driver, was lovely and made sure to pick us up on the way back. The rooms were very spacious, with a comfortable bed and strong air conditioning. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the cleaning staff were happy to tidy up the room daily if needed. The breakfast buffet was another great feature, offering a wide variety of options, both sweet and savoury, including fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries, and yoghurts. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful sea view was such a treat. There’s also a pool at the hotel (we didn’t use it, but it looked like a decent size).

Sa Domu Cheta offers an original design with its complete renovation of the first floor of a historic building. Here you can admire early 20th-century architecture, Art Nouveau design, exposed-stone walls and exposed-wood beams. Close to the city center and train station. Nice rooms. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel.

A varied buffet is served in a breakfast room with views of Santo Stefano Island. In summer, guests can enjoy it on the panoramic outdoor terrace. One of our two favorite hotels in Sardinia, it is 1/2 block from the ferry landing in the heart of Maddalena. The staff are helpful, friendly, warm, and very competent in addressing a wide range of requests Highly recommended

Rooms are fitted with parquet floors and wooden furnishings, a coffee machine and a kettle. Each room features a modern-style bathroom with design wash basin, large shower and both toiletries and a hairdryer. Most rooms have a balcony. The location is very good, close to the train station, the bus stop, and lots of bars and restaurants. Enrico, the staff, was super friendly, gave us tips of what to do and places to visit, and he let us leave our bags there after check out. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple looking for relaxing holidays.

The hosts are the sweetest in the world and make you feel right at home. we spent two days there but it was our favorite place in all of Sardinia. The bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was so clean, and it felt like home.
