The pool is small but the arrangement is that it can be used privately on an hourly basis. The breakfast is very well manned, fresh coffee is provided (up to the italian standard), and the continental breakfast has a good enough variety provided.

The rooms are super clean, also the location is excellent, close to train station and bus stops which makes it perfect to move around different towns. From the moment we opened the massive front door to the street we knew we were somewhere special, and we were! Wonderful stylish rooms and what a view! All the main attractions so close and right in the heart of the medieval city (close to metro too) The city is easily walkable, food excellent and getting (a bit lost) just part of the the fun. The apartement is in the lovely village of Riomaggiore and has the most beautiful view over the marina and the sea, which is the most beautiful and picturesque part of the village. You can hear the sea when the window is open and feel the smell of the mediterranean. It is impossible not to feel astonished by the beauty of this place and you can see it all throught the window of your apartment. There are many nice restaurants in the area, one is just down stairs from the apartment. We found Riomaggiore, as long as Manarola and Vernazza, the most beautiful villages of the cinque terre and our stay in Alla Marina made it even better. Be advised that you have to be in good physical shape to visit cinque terre since the villages are car free and you have to walk steep streets to move around and visit things. This apartment, as well as all the houses in the villages, is only accessible by steep stairs. But everything is well compensated by the incredible view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very close to the strain station which makes it very practical.
