Close to train station and all aspects of the “new” town. Easy walk to “old”. Breakfast was wonderful; nothing lacking. Great place , can’t believe it’s only 3* It’s one of those hotels high up and overlooking everything that makes you wonder what it’s like to stay there , and I can tell you it was great ! Free shuttle bus to deal with the hill down to town and back up ! I’d read somewhere that breakfast was only a croissant/cake affair , well it’s not , it’s a comprehensive hot and cold buffet that is most enjoyable .

Built in 19th century, the property is within 1.7 km of Le Terrazze Shopping Centre. The guest house has family rooms. The room was very big, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well presented, and the shower was spacious. The property was only a few minutes' walk to the train station for day trips to Cinque Terre and for going to other towns. There are many restaurants close by and for those wanting an English breakfast there is a restaurant just around the corner where to can get bacon and eggs. It is only a short stroll to the Marina and well worth the visit to see the super yachts moored there. Riccardo was an excellent host and his recommendations for restaurants were great. We took the bus to Portovenere. I would highly recommend this day trip. I would most definitely stay in this apartment again if I came to La Spezia.
