Our stay at Donna Camilla Savelli – VRetreats was nothing short of magical. This former 17th-century convent has been transformed into a serene, elegant retreat that feels worlds away from the chaos of Rome, yet sits just steps from the charm of Trastevere’s cobblestone streets and lively piazzas. The atmosphere is absolutely unique — vaulted ceilings, quiet courtyards, and a beautiful on-site chapel that still carries a sense of calm and history. We especially loved the peaceful garden and the breathtaking rooftop terrace overlooking the city at sunset. Our room was spotless, spacious, and filled with character — the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern comfort. The breakfast spread was lovely, with fresh pastries, fruits, and excellent cappuccino enjoyed under the ancient arches. Every staff member we met was warm, helpful, and genuinely caring — their hospitality made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a hotel that blends history, tranquility, and authentic Roman atmosphere, Donna Camilla Savelli is a true hidden gem. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Rome.

You will not regret choosing this hotel. 🤌 The hotel is very cozy, the rooms are spacious, bright with air conditioning and basic amenities (towels, shower gel and hand soap, hairdryer, small refrigerator, safe, TV, Wi-Fi). 🖥 From the windows there is a beautiful view of the aqueduct structure of Ancient Rome. 💯 Cleaning takes place every day, so you don’t have to worry about the cleanliness and order of your room. If you need a transfer to or from the airport, the hotel offers this opportunity (after your booking, the hotel will contact you and offer you this opportunity). ✈️ The hotel has an excellent location, there is a bus a couple of minutes walk, Termini station is a 20 minute walk, and there are many shops nearby. 🚉 The staff is very friendly, polite and always ready to help, available 24/7 (both at the reception and via WhatsApp). 🛎 We traveled as a couple and were very pleased with both the service and the hotel itself. Highly recommended. 😊✨️
