Its location is idyllic in this little town on Lake Como that is well served by train and water ferry (between Bellagio and Lecco). But why leave Mandello del Lario? It has exceeded my expectations. I only hope to be back!

Cadorna Chalet is set in Veleso, 22 km from Bellagio Ferry Terminal, 24 km from Como Lago Train Station, as well as 24 km from Basilica of San Fedele. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 21 km from Villa Melzi Gardens. The bed and breakfast has parking on-site, a solarium and luggage storage space. Although the road up the mountain is winding, the view from the top is totally worth it, just like from the room. Even though the bathroom was not in the room but in the hallway, it was not inconvenient and was entirely private and tidy. The breakfast was average but good. The host was extremely kind and helpful. I can only recommend the place its perfect value for money.
