Art Hotel Commercianti was amazing all the way around for my wife and I's stay. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of in every way. The hotel staff was very helpful in giving us many outstanding recommendations for dinner and activities to do in and around Bologna. The location was wonderful right in the heart of the main piazza across from a beautiful medieval church, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping in a bustling area. The breakfast was also wonderful and had something for everyone with great coffee service as well. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough!

Very clean. Was interesting getting to the property since it’s down an alley and up a dark staircase, however, felt safe the entire time and was a great room with everything that we needed.

It was an excellent stay, we had everything we need. The room was very clean and comfortable. Agostino the host is very very kind , he offers us fresh fruits and wine at our check in. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. We had early in the morning check out and Agostino was there to help us, to make us a coffee and to say goodbye. Totally recommended it!! The breakfast room and breakfast itself fulfilled our needs. There was a great variety of foods to choose from. I have no complaints about our room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect for our short trip to Bologna. We would gladly stay here again

Hotel Calzavecchio is located in Casalecchio di Reno and offers air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. A bus stop with links to Bologna stops less than 100 metres away. The free parking makes it a perfect option for visiting Bologna, if you do not mind about 30 minutes of commuting into the historical center. Make sure you reserve a table at the restaurant, as both the service and the food were outstanding.
