The hotel is located in the heart of the Sassi, making it incredibly cozy and charming. The room was perfect for a solo traveler, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Breakfast was delightful, with a good selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and hot options. Matera is one of the best places I have visited! I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and convenient stay in Matera!

We loved our stay at unique L'Arturo B&B, perfectly located in stunning Sasso Barisano di Matera. Monica was a lovely host, extremely caring and helpful. Our room was wonderfully spacious and pretty. Delicious breakfast. Overall, I was spellbound by Sassi di Matera, as well as the canyons next to this ancient mysterious town.

The location was ideal to explore the old town. The room was nice and clean, comfortable with lots of amenities, even espresso machine, has a cosy indoor balcony. The hostess is a wonderful lady that suggested and pointed us out all the sightseeings and the way to access them. She also offered us her parking lot to leave our motorbikes.
