Matera is a very challenging place to park, but we got great advanced information and a very convenient shuttle. The cave room is perfection. It is large and comfortable with a front patio area that contains a small table and chairs to admire the incredible view.

Good location just out of the busy touristy area. 10mins walk. Calm. Practical parking on site. Very clean. Excellent restaurant recommendations.

If you are looking for an authentic "grota" experience, this is it. The room had a very high ceiling and was very cosy. The staff was very helpful, the lobby is also very nice. In front of the hotel there is an amazing view of the old town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

A sweet and savoury breakfast is offered daily and is served in a converted cave. Breakfast includes hot drinks, croissants, cheese and cold meats. Very big room, with the cave behind where you can relax and drink wine. Very nice staff, explained me a lot about the town.

The location was perfect ,very close to the historic center and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The room was clean and the hosts were absolutely amazing ,warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. You can really see how much they care about making their guests feel at home. We would definitly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera.
