Just 100 metres from Piazza della Repubblica, the Dolce Maria is located in the mediaeval hill town of Cortona. Beautifully appointed room with period furniture and modern bathroom There was a spiral staircase to the rooftop which offered a spectacular panoramic view of Camucia and the surrounding countryside. The family run restaurant prepared a delicious breakfast with homemade jams , bread, cakes and local meats. The hosts were very welcoming and generous. We had a reservation at a nearby restaurant, but on our next visit we would definitely choose the family restaurant as our first stop .

Set within the town walls of medieval Cortona, this impressive 18th-century residence is now a luxury hotel, which offers you spectacular views of the mountains, hills, and nearby Lake Trasimeno. Our room had the most fantastic view south of Cortona. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They parked our car for us free of charge and made drinks for us during happy hour at the bar. Breakfasts were great too. Nice seating area outside at the front too.

The people working there were very friendly, always smiled and ready to take care about your smallest needs and desires (they make the food how you want, they make the drinks how you want". The most charming thing for us was the space and surroundings next to the Villa - outstanding gardens, well cared tress and grasses, it was really a joy to look at it every day, espacially during sunrises and sunsets. Lots of photos taken and memories made there, hope to come back there in some years.

A special touch was the owner personally greeting us, showing us his vintage Alfa Romeo, and saying goodbye at check-out.

Set in Arezzo’s Piazza Grande, La Corte Del Re Suite & Rooms Arezzo is an ancient building that still has some of its original Etruscan and Medieval walls. It offers uniquely decorated rooms with kitchenettes. The price-quality ratio was just outstanding. My room was huge, and I loved being in an historic building right in Arezzo's beautiful main square. What I loved the most was how kind the girl welcoming me and my friend was when I arrived. She was very proud about her job and her company, which also makes biological wine. She offered a bit of that too, and it was just amazing to be greeted in such a generous manner. So looking forward coming again. Highly recommended
