The location is fine - there's also a shopping mall and a good supermarket nearby, plus ATMs. I spent 14 nights there (my third long visit), and shall rebook when making my next visit to Madurai.

En suite bathrooms offer separate bathtub and shower facilities. The hotel is excellent. I am grateful to the restaurant team on the ground floor. Chef Nataraj and Mr. Dinesh are so good people. They prepared my favourite local street food based mo my request. Especially thanks to the GM who personally met me during my stay. He is a good gentleman. All the staff especially Palash and Yuvraj was served us during our stay. Thanking the team for the warm welcome and to make me feel at home.

This quiet English-style retreat exudes old world charm, yet provides facilities like a spa and a gym. Parking is complimentary. The location of the hotel is a just perfect . Being in the main city but away from the hustle and bustle . The property is beautiful. The staff were courteous and very helpful ( though they were definitely understaffed for the Diwali long weekend crowd) . Breakfast was sumptuous and had ample options.

Gateway Madurai enjoys beautiful views of the famous Meenakshi Temple, Madurai City, and Kodai Hills. It is 15 km from Madurai Airport and a 15-minute drive from Madurai City Centre. This is a gem. The restaurant is for royalty, the rooms are beyond any expectations and the grounds are wonderful. It is a magical place to stay. The dbb package was amazing and provided a fantastic start to our trip.
