Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The pool and restaurant/bar were outstanding, as were the staff. Can't say enough about the beautiful decor--the antique photos and the artworks. We took an early morning walking tour of some of the key markets and temples which was arranged by the hotel and it was epic--a great way to be introduced to Jaipur and a lifetime memory for sure!

Great rootop terrace with a view of the fort. Clean and simple room. Good home cooked food

This charming hostel is situated in the Old City and overlooks the famous Pichola Lake. Hostel Mantra features a traditional Rajasthan Haveli-style décor and houses a rooftop terrace and a restaurant.

The hostel is located within a short walk of shops, restaurants and many other tourist attractions. The City Palace and Jagdish Temple are situated 200 metres away. Udaipur Airport is located 24 km away. Very clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The morning tour was also a gem. We spent some time at the rooftop and enjoyed the lake view and peaceful atmosphere, and that was amazing. Located in a deep street but very convenient to get to the tourist spots by walk. It'll be my top choice if I come back to Udaipur. And it might happen because it's my favorite city on my trip.

The hospitality and service were incredible every staff member went above and beyond to help with any request or question. The property itself is stunning, with attention to detail everywhere you look. Breakfast was a highlight in itself, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The whole vibe of the place was welcoming and friendly, right from the moment we were greeted by the owner and his playful dogs. It truly felt like a home away from home and was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

It also offers 24-hour room service and complimentary WiFi access. The whole experience was serene. Staying in the middle of the city with the utomost level of luxury was a different kind of experience.

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Everybody that comes to Udaipur should book this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and really nice. They helped us hire a Tuk Tuk for the entire time we were there and it was just so easy to contact the driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere and know that we were getting a fair price. The air conditioning unit in the room was very powerful and made it very comfortable to sleep in considering we were there in peak summer. Bedrooms were incredibly beautiful, authentic and traditional feel. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was right in the center of the old city with a view of the lake as well as being close to the city Palace. Is there anything I didn’t like?

Although we arrived too late for dinner, Mr. Fifu welcomed us with delicious masala chai and shared valuable tips about local attractions, which we truly appreciated. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and if we ever return to Jaisalmer, we would definitely choose this place again. A heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Fifu for his kindness and hospitality!
